I was cleaning out my garage recently. \u00a0I unpacked a number of boxes, looking for a blue Fenton Hobnail vase. \"\"<\/a>\u00a0Never found it – I may have sold it – but I did find other pieces I’d forgotten about.<\/p>\n

I was very excited. \u00a0I have been looking to identify an etch for my pal Mary Lou. \u00a0When I saw this, I thought that it perhaps matched the etch on the sole remaining glass that belonged to her mom.<\/p>\n

But if you look at the two, \"\"<\/a>you can see that they are close, but no cigar! \u00a0I still don’t know the history of M Lou’s etch and I don’t know the provenance of mine either. \u00a0I bought it on one of our trips to Cape Cod for ninety nine cents. \u00a0Cool shape. \u00a0Sigh – so many unknown etches, so little time!<\/p>\n
