I am on vacation! \u00a0Yippie. \u00a0Today I visited the Heisey Museum in Newark, Ohio. \u00a0It was one of the coolest \"\"<\/a>adventures I’ve ever had. \u00a0Only the glass obsessed can understand. \u00a04500 pieces of fascinating glass. \u00a0I didn’t identify any etches of my own, but saw lots of gorgeous pieces.<\/p>\n

Yacked with a staffer\/volunteer who offered some information and advice about a reference book, that I now have to buy.<\/p>\n

I might donate my Belle le Rose candelabra as they have few pieces of this etch. \u00a0The volunteer said they are hard to find.<\/p>\n

If you are ever in this neck of the woods, this is a MUST stop. \u00a0 I had hoped to buy a piece of glass, but nada. \u00a0Did buy this deck of Heisey glass playing cards!!!!\"\"<\/a>\u00a0 (Haven’t opened it yet). \u00a0Has different pieces on each card I think. \u00a0Also bought a non glass gift for my son.<\/p>\n

We weren’t allowed to photograph the interior of the Museum. \u00a0I forgot to photograph the exterior – can’t believe it! \u00a0So I was forced to take the photos of the card box. \u00a0When I open the cards I may take some pictures of them as well.<\/p>\n

On to Kentucky tomorrow. \u00a0Hope I see some pieces there.<\/p>\n
