\"Fostoria<\/a>I don’t normally post a particular stem more than once, unless I am updating the ID, or adding other pieces. \u00a0But I had to write about this piece.<\/p>\n

I sold it yesterday on Etsy. \u00a0Searched my entire garage for it, only to find it in my office on a shelf. \u00a0Overlooked it the first two times I searched there!<\/p>\n

But the reason I wanted to write about it was because the buyer told me that her sister-in-law had inherited this pattern from her mother and wants to add to her collection. \"Fostoria<\/a><\/p>\n

I love that story. \u00a0That continuity of a collection. \u00a0I think I’ve written before that I often wonder about the previous owners of pieces that I have. \u00a0Who were they? \u00a0Did they enjoy the pieces when they owned them? \u00a0How did they use them? \u00a0Who bought them for them? \u00a0Etc., etc. \u00a0Questions with no answers of course. \u00a0But still nice to ponder.<\/p>\n

I have been totally lackadaisical about photographing and posting info about my trip purchases. \u00a0I have to admit that I am more preoccupied with my garden in the summer than I am with my glass.<\/p>\n

However…this is a glass that I found somewhere in Kentucky.<\/p>\n

The cool thing is that I bought it and then recognized it in the Fostoria Museum. \u00a0That was a\u00a0pretty neat experience.<\/p>\n

Replacements dates this needle etch from 1924-1942. \u00a0It is great to ID a needle etch in particular. \u00a0They are hard to ID.<\/p>\n
