\"Vase\"<\/a>I picked this vase up some time ago but stuck it in a cabinet in the bathroom basement and forgot about it. \u00a0Was cleaning the bathroom when lo and behold there it was! \u00a0Made me curious about it again.<\/p>\n

I posted the query on the Elegant and Everyday Glass Forum<\/a>\u00a0where someone provided the identification. \u00a0I had a quick look online. \u00a0Didn’t find this vase, but learned about lots of other neat stuff including the information that Birks might have made some of the silver overlays for some of these pieces.<\/p>\n

If this is a part of this line then the piece was likely made in the sixties. \u00a0Hard to believe that this is still potentially fifty years old! \u00a0Sheesh, I still remember the sixties!<\/p>\n

Nice heavy piece of glass, although impractical to use without a frog – the flowers kept sliding into the lower lobes.<\/p>\n

Don’t know if you are supposed to clean the silver. \u00a0I’ve read that you are not. \u00a0Don’t want to ruin it. \u00a0If anyone knows, please pass on your information.<\/p>\n
