\"Unknown<\/a>My interest in these needle etches remains unabated and I don’t \u00a0know why. The odds of ever identifying their provenance is slim. \u00a0If you are lucky enough to find an etched stem on a unique stem\/blank, then the task is easier, but still………..challenging.<\/p>\n

This particular glass does have some unique features to the stem, although they are difficult to see in the photo. \u00a0Where the stem and the bowl are connected, there is some ‘carving’ (not the correct word, I’m sure). \u00a0May make it easier to track down the production company of the blank at least. \u00a0I think it is safe to say that it was likely made prior to 1940.\"Unknown<\/a><\/p>\n

I often wonder what on earth I am ever going to do with these single stems????? \u00a0But I can’t bear to toss them. \u00a0Maybe someone will start a museum of unknown needle-etched glasses and I can donate my entire collection.<\/p>\n
