\"\"<\/a>We were antiquing last weekend in Waterloo and I came across these glasses. \u00a0I bought two sizes of the same shape. \u00a0They are a rich ruby red. \u00a0Here’s a bit of history on these glasses from Ehow.com<\/a>\u00a0– “Berwick or Boopie glassware was produced by the Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation for almost three decades, from the 1950s to the 1970s. By that time, Anchor Hocking glassware was being produced by machines that could mold and press pieces at 90 or more items a minute. \u00a0Boopie stemware has a row of marble-like beads encircling the outer edge of the foot or base. Pairs of raised lines extend from the top of the foot to the bottom and end in a rounded design above each bead. The bowl is a slightly rounded taper shape.”<\/p>\n

They also come in an attractive green and in clear glass. \u00a0I have a few of the clear with an etch on them. \u00a0I think the coloured pieces are much more attractive.<\/p>\n

These are water goblets. \u00a0I also have juice\/wine glasses. \u00a0Same shape but smaller.<\/p>\n

They are not costly to collect and not hard to find – particularly the clear.<\/p>\n
