\"070\"<\/a>Just back from a sunny vacation in Cuba. \u00a0While there, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to have a lunch in the home of a gentleman we met at our resort. \u00a0He was a pianist\/entertainer there.<\/p>\n

When we went into the dining room I saw the family’s cabinet of treasures – china, flatware and glass. \u00a0Much to my surprise I spotted several pieces of Depression glass. \u00a0There was a Jeannette Iris sugar bowl, some pink glass that I didn’t recognize, some clear Boopies, a yellow pitcher that I didn’t recognize and this green piece. \u00a0I received permission to photograph them.<\/p>\n

I’d seen the piece online. \u00a0It is a piece of Anchor Hocking with a very pretty stem. \u00a0Replacements.com doesn’t have a name for it, but several ebayers call it “Inspiration”.<\/p>\n

The man of the house and I could not communicate well, but I did determine that the pieces had belonged to his grandmother and were very treasured. \u00a0Wished I could have found out how she had gotten them.<\/p>\n

Just goes to show you can find treasures everywhere!<\/p>\n
