Issitt. \u00a0He describes, with beautiful photos, the history of these vases with shapes to imitate the Jack in the Pulpit flower.<\/p>\n<p>The pattern is an old one and many well known glass companies have made vases in this shape.<\/p>\n<p>This vase certainly resembles the flower and some of the examples shown. \u00a0Still don&#8217;t know who made it, but I like knowing that it is a &#8216;floral&#8217; (well kind of) piece.<\/p>\n<p>__________________________________<\/p>\n<p>This isn&#8217;t a vintage piece. \u00a0In fact it is not a piece that I would likely choose for myself. \u00a0My guy bought it at an auction. \u00a0When I saw it I secretly thought that it would end up at the local thrift shop!<a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Art-Vase.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-2541\" alt=\"Art Vase\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Art-Vase-150x150.jpg\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However&#8230;..it has been sitting on my window sill in my kitchen. \u00a0It is bright and cheerful and I like the colours. \u00a0I look at it everyday when I wash dishes.<\/p>\n<p>I will likely keep, for awhile anyway. \u00a0It&#8217;s always hard to part with a gift, isn&#8217;t it?<\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 0;float:none;height:100px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?p=2551\" send=\"true\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"450\" show_faces=\"true\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Update from the original June 9, 2013 post&#8230;..
