Bredehoft and Thomas H. Bredehoft the etch was in production between 1930 and 1937.\u00a0 Given that Carcassonne was in production between 1930-1941, this stem is at least 84 years old!\u00a0 I bought a set of four and they are pristine.\u00a0 Someone(s) have taken good care of them all these years.<\/p>\n<p>The authors also shared this quote from a Heisey ad:\u00a0 &#8220;Most delightful is the chintz pattern etching in Early American spirit of the <a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?attachment_id=6042\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6042\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-6042\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102231-285x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"285\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102231-285x300.jpg 285w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102231-973x1024.jpg 973w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102231-768x808.jpg 768w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102231-1460x1536.jpg 1460w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102231-1946x2048.jpg 1946w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 285px) 100vw, 285px\" \/><\/a>fine lead blown glassware&#8230;composed of a series of old chintz patterns artistically executed.\u00a0 A ship in full sail, a man on horseback, a Colonial girl, a pagoda are among the motifs admirably used in the general pattern.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The etch was also used on the Empress line &#8211; #1401.<\/p>\n<p>This goblet is a tall goblet.\u00a0 There was a shorter one with the same 11 ounce capacity.\u00a0 I think I prefer the taller style.<a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?attachment_id=6043\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6043\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6043\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102244-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102244-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102244-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102244-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102244-1536x2048.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/IMG_20220111_102244-scaled.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Carcassonne line also came in flamingo, sahara, cobalt bowl\/crystal stem and foot, and with an alexandrite bowl\/crystal stem and foot.
