Deco Brocade was produced on Lancaster&#8217;s line 832-835 and Petal &#8211; 1830 line.\u00a0 This piece is from the Petal line and is piece #1830\/2, a mint bowl.\u00a0 Imagine having a special bowl for mints!\u00a0 The Petal line was introduced in 1931.<a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?attachment_id=5556\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5556\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-5556\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141704-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141704-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141704-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141704-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141704-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141704-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mr. Zastowney provides Lancaster&#8217;s line numbering system.\u00a0 A piece with the designation of \/2 after its line number &#8211; such as Petal #1830\/2 &#8211; indicates that this is &#8220;a bowl, console or compote usually with a horizontal flange, which can be footed and\/or handled; this number was also used for cupped, handled mayonnaise bowls.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Lancaster had two shades of &#8216;pink&#8217;.\u00a0 One, as seen on this piece was called &#8216;Pink&#8217;.\u00a0 The other was called &#8216;Rose&#8217;.<a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?attachment_id=5555\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5555\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-5555\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141659-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141659-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141659-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141659-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141659-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/IMG_20200803_141659-2048x1536.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div id=\"wp_fb_like_button\" style=\"margin:5px 0;float:none;height:100px;\"><script src=\"http:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/all.js#xfbml=1\"><\/script><fb:like href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?p=5554\" send=\"true\" layout=\"standard\" width=\"450\" show_faces=\"true\" font=\"arial\" action=\"like\" colorscheme=\"light\"><\/fb:like><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Isn&#8217;t this pretty?\u00a0 Caught my eye immediately.\u00a0 The etching couldn&#8217;t be called anything other than &#8216;Deco&#8217; something.
