These are not stems that are of the greatest quality nor are they particularly delicate.\u00a0 But….for some reason they appeal to me.\u00a0 Maybe it’s the variety of colours, or maybe it’s because they are not too costly!\u00a0 Ha ha.<\/p>\n

A little info from The Collectors Encyclopedia of Heisey Glass 1925-1938 by Neila Bredehoft:<\/p>\n

“Production range for these lines #1184, 1185, 1186, 1187, 1189 was 1913-1957.\u00a0 The name Yeoman was given by Heisey in later years.<\/p>\n

The goblets are part of line #1184.”<\/p>\n

I haven’t measured their capacity but I am guessing that they hold 8 ounces.\u00a0 There is a 10 ounce goblet as well.<\/p>\n

There are many pieces in the Yeoman line.\u00a0 Some without an optic and some with the diamond optic seen on these stems.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Imperial Glass made amber goblets later with the Heisey molds.<\/p>\n

I bought the Moongleam (green) and the Sahara (yellow) goblets on ebay and the Flamingo (pink) from the Carlisles of Sheridan, Indiana who deal only in Heisey glass (with a few pieces of Blendo as an aside).\u00a0 If you want a treat, check out the half price videos on Youtube, weekly on Thursdays, where Kim Carlise displays a table full of glass that he is selling at half price.<\/p>\n

Kim and his daughter are lovely to work with.\u00a0 Kim also does some repair.\u00a0 He cleaned up a cloudy decanter for me.\u00a0 Turned out beautifully for a very reasonable price.<\/p>\n
