{"id":6179,"date":"2022-07-20T11:51:12","date_gmt":"2022-07-20T15:51:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?p=6179"},"modified":"2022-07-20T11:51:12","modified_gmt":"2022-07-20T15:51:12","slug":"cambridge-glass-amber-plate-with-etch-715-willow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?p=6179","title":{"rendered":"Cambridge Glass Amber Plate with Etch 715 Willow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?attachment_id=6177\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6177\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-large wp-image-6177\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084638-1024x925.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"478\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084638-1024x925.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084638-300x271.jpg 300w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084638-768x694.jpg 768w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084638-1536x1388.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084638-2048x1850.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px\" \/><\/a>My husband and I took our first post-COVID trip into the U.S. recently.\u00a0 While we travelled into and through New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, District of Columbia and Delaware, the trip was actually planned around a trip to Cambridge, Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>We were too late for the convention but I had long wanted to visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/cambridgeglassmuseum.org\/\">National Museum of Cambridge Glass<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The visit was worth the wait.\u00a0 This is a spectacular museum which showcases the many shapes, colours and decorations of Cambridge.\u00a0 You could spend 3-4 hours just gazing into the cases.\u00a0 The staff are also super knowledgeable and helpful.\u00a0 A great experience!<\/p>\n<p>I realize that I have now been able to visit this museum, the <a href=\"https:\/\/heiseymuseum.org\/\">Heisey Museum<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/home.cmog.org\/\">Corning Museum<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/sandwichglassmuseum.org\/\">the Sandwich Museum<\/a>, the 2 Dorflinger Museums &#8211; https:\/\/dorflinger.org\/ and https:\/\/dorflingerfactorymuseum.com\/, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dufferinmuseum.com\/corn-flower-glass\/\">Corn Flower Glass Museum<\/a>, the <a href=\"http:\/\/magwv.com\/\">Museum of American Glass in West Virginia<\/a> and, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fostoriaglass.org\/\">Fostoria Museum<\/a>.\u00a0 They have all been spectacular showcases.\u00a0 Look forward to other museum visits.<a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/?attachment_id=6176\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6176\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-6176\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084620-300x248.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"248\" srcset=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084620-300x248.jpg 300w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084620-1024x845.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084620-768x634.jpg 768w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084620-1536x1267.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_20220719_084620-2048x1690.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There were only two antique shops right in Cambridge itself with a number in outlying communities or in rural areas.\u00a0 However I have to highlight the shop where I bought this gorgeous plate.<\/p>\n<p>Margaret Lane Antiques of 2 East Main Street, New Concord, Ohio is owned and operated by Lynn M.
