\u00a0With a sign like that, how could one not go in! \u00a0I was surprised to see these pieces of Thistle. \u00a0The stems on the pieces below are called &#8216;wafer&#8217;. \u00a0These pieces have a very delicate looking thin stem and of course the bowl is a different shape.<a href=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Bohemia-Thistle-Open-Champagnes-41.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-thumbnail wp-image-2757\" src=\"https:\/\/grannysglasses.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/08\/Bohemia-Thistle-Open-Champagnes-41-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Bohemia Thistle Open Champagnes (4)\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I find this line interesting. \u00a0So many pieces in various iterations.<\/p>\n<p>Original posting &#8211; March 8, 2012<\/p>\n<p>I have had many pieces of this pattern. \u00a0In fact the snifters were among the first pieces I bought for myself &#8211; from a place in Port Hope. \u00a0I&#8217;ve had flutes, open champagnes, decanters, snifters, jam jar and cordials. \u00a0I think that&#8217;s all. \u00a0I sold these particular items to a colleague. \u00a0Very pretty, although I personally prefer champagne flutes to the open saucers. \u00a0Don&#8217;t know why. \u00a0I guess they seem more elegant to me. \u00a0Also, less tippy I think!
