\"\"<\/a>My daughter says that I need a new camera. \u00a0I don’t know if that’s true or not, I can obviously capture images. \u00a0However my photos definitely do not capture the brilliance of the cut pieces. \u00a0I think that’s likely less a reflection on the functions of the camera and more a comment on the lack of skill of the photographer! \u00a0This pretty little piece was purchased at a local Bible Mission Thrift Shop. \u00a0It is small in stature but large in shine. \u00a0I don’t know the pattern name, but it is signed, as you can see. \u00a0I think this was the signature of a company called Edinburgh Crystal. \u00a0This is what Wikipedia says about them – \"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Edinburgh Crystal<\/strong>\u00a0was a cut\u00a0glass<\/a>\u00a0crystal<\/a>\u00a0manufactured in\u00a0Scotland<\/a>\u00a0between 1867 and 2006, and was also the name of the manufacturing company. In addition to\u00a0drinking glasses<\/a>, Edinburgh Crystal have made\u00a0decanters<\/a>,\u00a0bowls<\/a>,\u00a0baskets<\/a>, and\u00a0bells<\/a>, in several ranges. The company have produced the glass panels for the\u00a0lamps<\/a>\u00a0on the\u00a0British<\/a>\u00a0royal<\/a>\u00a0carriage<\/a>s. \u00a0The Edinburgh Crystal company went into administration in 2006 and, following its subsequent acquisition by\u00a0Waterford Wedgwood<\/a>, is now solely a brand name.<\/p>\n
