\"\"<\/a>I ordered this online recently. \u00a0I had never seen it in the ‘flesh’ before and decided I wanted to acquire a piece. \u00a0The stems can be costly, for just a look, but I came across the single glass and thought it was worth the price. \u00a0And boy is it ever. \u00a0Replacements.com identifies the production time frame as 1939-1956. \u00a0The etch is composed of four ‘fancy’ musicians or dancers and a pretty pattern etched in between. \u00a0If you want a clear perspective, check out this image on the Heisey Glass museum site –\u00a0http:\/\/www.heiseymuseum.org\/etchings.html#cat3<\/a>. \u00a0I’ve added the photos to give you a sense of the etch and to show the pretty stem.<\/p>\n

I wouldn’t mine acquiring a few more of these stems for a set. \u00a0But I have to say that I do not like the shape of the bowl as much as other stems I have. \u00a0I like the detail on the stem however. \u00a0I do like the Heisey pieces, and I have a few of Frontenac, Orchid and Pied Piper, very much.<\/p>\n
