Found out today that this is a double crimped 3 inch vase and the colour is Colonial Green

I have had a few of these mini vases in various colours and finishes. I was pleased when one of my daughters asked to have a blue with opalescence piece.

My guy is away for a weekend hockey tournament so I thought I’d visit some thrift shops.

Even though I have, and may still own this piece, for a small investment I thought it worth picking up in this colour.

Last new hobnail piece that I am going to show. I also bought another white hen on nest, but I’ve already shown one off.

No markings on this vase, but I am assuming that it is a piece of Fenton. Eight inches (more or less) tall. Pretty common. I am guessing again, that it is at least 30 years old.

I used to have the exact same piece in blue, but sold that ages ago. I’m not too crazy about the white hobnail (I must admit) but it IS easy to find.

I also saw a lidded white milkglass box on a stand in Fort Erie. I think it was a cigarette holder. I’m kind of sorry that I didn’t buy it. But…oh well……Can’t have everything!
