My lovely eldest child came for an Easter visit. Being the lovely child that she is, she brought me two great glass reference guides. Unfortunately I already have one – oddly enough. But she also bought this one for me. It’s very fab. I love having books about glass. Much of the fun of acquiring pieces is the identification of them.
While I don’t have a ton of Depression glass, I did recognize a number of patterns. This particular guide was published in 2008. I don’t think it matters how old the book is. After all the Depression is over (at least THAT one is) and the glass won’t change.
The photos, and sketches, are crisp and clear. Very easy to identify patterns. I’ve found a few items I’d like to purchase.
I highly recommend this purse size book. Easy to carry around for checking on pieces.
Thank you Z. A great gift!
