This was a very fun purchase.  I saw this glass on ebay.  The photo was fuzzy and I couldn’t make out the pattern.  I recognized the stem as Fostoria.  In fact, I thought that the etch was Fostoria’s Meadow Rose.  The glass had a <Buy Now> price that wasn’t too high so I thought I’d buy it on spec.  As it turns out it is Navarre.  I think it is the larger claret.

I’ve had Navarre snifters and I have a broken blue bell.  I’ve not had other stems.  The Navarre pieces are popular and expensive online.  I’m not sure why though.  It’s pretty, but I’ve seen prettier.  Nonetheless I’m pleased with my buy.
