Wine Glass with Amber Cone Stem (5)

Identified by someone who obviously knows her glass – thank you.

Original posting pf May 8, 2016.

I don’t even know how old these glasses are.  They have bubbles through the stems and bowl which indicates they have been hand blown so I assume they are mid to late twentieth century….but…..could be way off base.

They caught my eye for a number of reasons.  The bowl has a very shiny sheen and is such a nice crisp shape.  The stem is a dark amber with a honeycomb finish.

At slightly over 7 inches tall I have to assume that they are water goblets.  I think they would look great with a cocktail in them however.

Although these aren’t my normal style, I found them very attractive.  I’d love to identify them.
