When we were in the States I picked this up. I saw the signature on it, didn’t know what it was so I had to bring it home and check. 
I tried to photograph it for the post, but the bottom was too shiny and I couldn’t get it to show up. The IG of the mark stands for Imperial Glass.
This piece was made from 1950-64, according to Replacements. There was a series of these pieces in a number of colours and finishes including this satin milkglass.
Pretty – too bad I couldn’t have found 2!

I gather this pattern is discontinued, but I don’t know when. I don’t think it is very old. Ordinarily I wouldn’t buy this piece, but I think it was in the $2.00 range, and I figured it was too pretty to pass up. Someone I know will want this.
It is signed Stuart Strathearn on the bottom.
