This pretty round topaz plate etched bowl was produced by Fostoria from 1930-1933.
The etch is #284 New Garland and the shape is line #2430 Diadem. The base has pretty geometric detailing.

I don’t know why I can’t resist center handle servers! I have at least a dozen kicking around. They are a pain to store since you can’t stack them. I don’t sell many of them, and I rarely use them, but they often find their way to my house! An indication of a minor addiction I guess!
Now this piece is special because of its pretty colour. This photo was taken outside in cloudy conditions as I couldn’t quite capture the depth and richness of the colour in the house. The photo still doesn’t really do it justice.
This is Cambridge’s line 870.

I am not a huge fan of ‘pink’ but thought that these pieces (there are two) were interesting. This pair of pretty pink and white glass candle holders was made by Hocking Glass from Lancaster, Ohio.
The pieces are opaque white (Vitrock) with a fired on painted pink base. You can see the ‘beaded’ decorations – the ‘pearls’ I suppose. Not sure where the ‘oyster’ can be found.
