This has such a pretty rich colour. Ruby with hints of yellow, particularly in the dolphins. The floral details on the base make this a very festive holiday piece. Likely would have more of a Christmas feel with reindeer instead of the dolphins!

It’s been such a long time since I have posted on my blog that I can’t even recall where I bought this pretty piece. I have such a weakness for these center handle servers. I rarely use them or sell them and they are difficult to store, but they call out to me!
This one had such a pretty handle and such a rich colour that I couldn’t resist it.
Turns out that it was made by Paden City, likely in the 1930s. It has a cutting with foliage and a berry/flower (?) – name unknown.

I think this was made by Lancaster glass, but not 100% sure. It is a pretty eight-sided piece with yellow floral transfers.
I have had this sitting in my office shelf for such a long time – don’t know why I don’t use it. It is a cheery little piece.
