I came home from work to find this exciting parcel on my kitchen table.  I am expecting three books and I’m looking forward to their arrival.  This one came first.  I didn’t have any books on Heisey and I seem to be picking up Heisey pieces lately.

I’ve just had a quick look, but I am a bit disappointed not to see more about the individual etches.  Lots about the blanks (shapes) however.  This is supposed to be THE authoritative title on Heisey Glass.  I’ll wait until the weather turns cold again and cuddle under my Hudson Bay throw, that my son gave me for Christmas, and read this book.  I bought it through www.abebooks.com.  If you haven’t ordered books from there, check it out.  Lots of variety on prices.
