My guy went off for his weekly jaunt to the Courtice Flea Market. He very often returns home with a piece/pieces of glass for me to consider. Some choices are better well-received than others. This little set of four was a success although I don’t know much about them.
Luckily the one has a label attached that reads – “Crystal Belfor Hand Made”. The little that I can find online is that “Belfor” is attributed as Bohemia Crystal, a Czech product.
I haven’t yet come across this particular line, although I was interested in observing that the “Exquisite” line is attributed as Belfor at Replacements. I think this is a line that is often seen in my part of Ontario, but I am going to look more closely next time I run across it.
Another site I came across in my search was a site out of Edmonton – The Crystal Connection. The vendor sells discontinued crystal and also offers an identification service with lovely photos. Right on the home page is a piece that I am sure that I own – “Royal Diamond” by Fine Arts Crystal. I am going to have to scout around the garage and find it.
In any event, this little glass is quite pretty. Best guess for age – 1960s-1980s. WOuld love to have someone correct me.
