Been a long time since I have added to this blog. Not for the lack of new pieces to add. I have acquired a number of items over the last little while. However I have to admit that I am slowing down. Getting to a stage where I must unload more!!!! Plus the Canadian dollar is so weak compared to the US greenback that you just can’t buy anything from the US. This of course is a shame as there is always something really cool to acquire from somewhere in America.
Anyway….my guy and I went on a hot, sweaty rural ramble this past Sunday. Although it is a bit cooler today, this part of Ontario has been enjoying the heat and humidity for the last couple weeks. I don’t mind – it will be November all too soon!
In any event we went up to Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls. Stopped at Grr8 Finds and picked up this Emerald center satin server.
I now have several of these servers. I don’t ‘serve’ anything hardly worth eating. No sweets or little dainty sandwiches. Nonetheless these pieces interest me. Such a variety of handle shapes and plate shapes, colours and of course sizes.
