small-blue-centre-handle-server-5I used my recently acquired resource on center handle servers to identify this little server.  This is the first piece that I knowingly own from this company.

A quick search across the Internet brought up this information from Glassian.

Co-operative Flint Glass Company, Limited logo

Location:

  • Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania

Timeline:

  • 1869 – Opens as “Beaver Falls Co-operative Flint Glass Co. “
  • 1889 – Name change to “Co-operative Flint Glass Co.”
  • 1937 – Closed

History:

  • “This firm started out as the Beaver Falls Co-operative Flint Glass Co. in 1869, later changing their name (in 1889) to Co-operative Flint Glass Co. The firm operated until 1937, closing due to the economic depression.” —Vaseline Glass Collectors, Inc.

Glassian is an interesting site that I have never perused.  Lots on information on insulators and vault lights.

This little server has pretty details.  It has blue paint, gold trim and wheel cut decorations.
