I have long trolled the ‘net looking for a stem with the Chateau (#315) etch – 1933-1939. They don’t seem to come up too often. But I lucked into four of the water goblets (stem #6008) and had to have them. They were a little more expensive than I would normally pay, but worth the price.
They do not disappoint. They arrived in pristine condition as well. However…….as I was washing them, I snapped the stem off of the bowl of one. Very, very annoying. I didn’t realize that I am as strong (and careless) and I obviously am.
A search for a fourth stem will now be placed on the list of “things I am always looking for when I am out and about”.

I picked up three of these stems, in an auction lot I think. I knew I had seen them online and it wasn’t too hard to identify them.
They are stem #6024 – Cellini by Fostoria. Production dates – 1938 – 1970. The interesting item is the optic, a loop optic. I thought the no optic look more ‘scalloped’, but I guess this is the same look, regardless of the name! Different in any event.
I think these are the liquour, or cocktail glasses.
I was assessing these for sale and noticed that all three of them had a production flaw that resembles a scratch in basically the exact same place on each stem. Weird. The trouble is that the flaw can be viewed through the stem. Since they are magnified they look larger than they really are.
They are in the ‘giveaway’ pile for someone to enjoy.
