I’ve posted a number of pieces of Federal Glass’ Madrid pattern.  I’m comfortable that those pieces are all Depression era originals.

However these plates are definitely reproductions.  The pattern is similar, but not quite right.  The quality of the photo precludes pointing out the flaws. I pulled out my Warman’s Depression Glass Guide and could see where the pattern just doesn’t align.

Nonetheless, the colour is very pretty.  My guy bought these at an auction.  The auctioneer was honest and told him that they were repros.  But he liked the colour too.
