I picked this up in a Value Village for $4.00 I think.  I didn’t know anything about it, but figured that it would be easy to track down.  As always ebay is a valuable source of information.  Basically everything in the world is for sale and all you need are enough search terms before you finally find a match!  Jeannette made a lot of milk glass items in the pink, with different patterns.  I know this is a Lombardi bowl,  made in the late fifties I think, but I don’t know definitively if this is the name of the pattern, or of the shape.  I suppose I could find out, but I am not all that interested.  It is a real delicate pink colour with a pretty pattern that includes flowers, shells, scrolls and leaves.  I have tried to show the interior pattern, but I know it is difficult to see in the second photo – sorry.  I should sell this item as it seems a shame to keep it stuck in a drawer, as I rarely have it out.  I think I put it out in the summer last year.  I like to change up the colours of my kitsch by seasons.
