Aside from the fact that this was $1.00, I am fascinated by the shape and single handle.  I have double handled cream soup bowls (creamers) in china (I collect bits and pieces of china as well) but I believe that this piece is properly called a nappy.  I suppose you can use it for soup still, but heck, anyone can use any dish for anything can’t they?  I’ve heard of fruit nappies and fruit would fit in this bowl as well!  It has a pretty shine to it.  I don’t know if it’s Czech or not.  I’ve ordered a book on Czech glass and will be pouring over it when it arrives.
