I found this in a recent search through boxes in the garage.  I only have the sugar bowl, no creamer.

It is very pretty.  Lots of cuts which leads to lots of brilliance when the sun is shining.  I had this in a yard sale last summer for $2.00 (still had the sticker on it), but obviously it didn’t go.  I have a number of china  sugar and creamer sets, as well as odd pieces of crystal.  I’ve stopped buying them now – no room, and despite the number I own, no real interest.  My kids all have sets, so reason to buy more.  Having said that I did just order a set of Indiana Glass Custard Creamer and Sugar.  They haven’t arrived yet.

I think $2.00 was a great deal!

I went through a stage where I was picking up pieces, when they were cheaper than cheap, that I thought were pretty.  You’d almost think I had money or something!  I think I bought this for a couple dollars.  I’m guessing it’s European.  I know so little about cut glass.  It has a decent lead content as it has a pretty brilliance, and colours, in the sun.  This doesn’t show up in the photo.  I think I tried to sell this at our summer neighbourhood yard sale.  But we had so much rain that no one came out.  It’s in a box in the garage now.  Waiting for this summer!  I have to admit I am trying to stop buying things for no apparent reason.  Even if they are cheap….there are storage implications.  Although sometimes I like to pick up etched items just to see if I can determine their age and name.  But the cut items?????  They are so difficult to distinguish.  I just want a so so challenge.  Not a REALLY difficult task!
