I don’t know why I keep picking up pieces of Corn Flower….but I do. I don’t know who made these tumblers, but they join my collection.

I am always excited to find one of my pieces in a book. If it’s in a book it must be true! (saith the old fashioned librarian) Tee hee.
These pieces are very common – see them all over the place! Crimped edge bud vase. This was cut by the Hughes Company. Krista Taylor – Canadian Identification & Price Guide to W.J. Hughes Corn Flower (neat book) – indicates that the blanks were produced by the Louie Glass Company and West Virginia Glass. Her sources were a 1951 company catalogue and a 1981 catalogue.
In 1951 the vase cost $1.00. In 1981 the price was $7.50. I can’t recall what I paid for it!
