This is the last of my guy’s recent auction buys. Well….at least the last of the glass pieces!
I have no idea if this is old. I’m tending to lean to not particularly old. 
I don’t know if it is really pressed or not. I’m just going to have to keep my eyes open for an identical twin and see if it is identified.

This is a pretty little bowl, with interesting features. My guy bought it home from, where else, an auction.
At first glance, I though – ho hum. But once I washed it I found it somewhat more attractive. 
Although not spectacularly coloured, there are some red tints. It also has cute little feet, the beaded edge and a nice pattern around the bowl.
Don’t know if I will ever be able to identify it, but I’m going to get around to trying!

I was hesitant about picking this up as I don’t think it is particularly unique – not milkglass. It just doesn’t have that je ne sais quoi character. No markings, so I don’t even know if it was an E.O. Brody florist’s container.
But it was fifty cents and I thought that it wasn’t a hideous amount to spend at a charitable thrift shop. I might just take it into work and see if someone wants it. I have two plants, both two big for this pot, and I have no intention of adding to the biome of our house!
