I was trolling Around the Block just before Christmas looking for some jadite mugs. Didn’t find any, but came away with this pretty three lite candelabra. I was pretty sure it was a piece of Heisey, which was verified by the “H in a diamond” mark. However I kept referring to it as “Plantation” when in fact the piece of vegetation is not a pineapple, but is an acorn!
I gather researchers and collectors call the pattern “Tricorn”, but the name is actually “Triplex” and this is line #129.
The piece was made in a number of colours and in crystal with a different colour base.
