In November I was performing an update when my site crashed after experiencing a fatal error.
I didn’t know how to fix it. I wasn’t too bothered as I wondered if I was interested in keeping it going anyway! After all, it is not the Huffington Post! My readership is slim, but…what the heck…..
The wonderful people at Dreamhost – my hosting site fixed it and it is live again.
In the intervening months I have bought, and sold, some beautiful pieces. I will start posting them again.
Seems fitting to start with a beautiful piece from my favourite company – Heisey.
The shape/blank is #3389 – Dusquesne and the etch is #480 – Normandie.
The production years for this line were 1935 – 1938.
The stem on this champagne is neat. It has ribbed edges with pretty detailing at the base of the stem.
The entire shape is gorgeous.
These glasses are particularly bright, don’t know why. Very pretty.
