This is a liquor cocktail glass with an etch called First Love. The maker was Duncan & Miller from Pennsylvania. The etch was in production from 1935-1955. I have stared at this a bazillion times and have tried to figure out what the pattern has to do with one’s first sweetheart. The stem is interesting, but actually too ornate for my liking. Oh….evidence of spring. Cambridge`s Daffodil etch is a celebration of early flowers. I love the stem. This is a low sherbert produced in the 1950s. I haven`t come across any other `live`examples, as opposed to online, of this etch. I don`t think they are super common. If you have some wines or waters, you are lucky.
