I saw this at the local thrift shop. There were three pieces. This wine and two smaller. One of the smaller sized was chipped and I managed to restrain myself from purchasing the other.
The main etch is a wreath or laurel and there is a 
band about the rim.
As usual, another piece for the needle etch museum!

I saw these water goblets on ebay and decided to buy. I thought it would be a cinch to identify this etch/blank. Looked very much like something Fostoria would have produced.
Well I can honestly say that it DOES look like something Fostoria would have produced, but I haven’t been able to nail it down. Thought maybe Tiffin produced them, but so far no luck finding a match for Tiffin either.
The blank itself is not particularly unique although the pieces are heavier than usual.
I keep wanting to borrow a black light from our friend Dave to see if the pieces, and a few others, are Vaseline.
This is how the Vaseline Glass Collectors define Vaseline Glass:
“Vaseline Glass is a particular color of yellow-green glass that is made by adding 2% Uranium Dioxide to the ingredients when the glass formula is made.”

I think this is the prettiest set of design elements. I have no idea where or when these glasses were produced. Perhaps I will post them and look for an ID.
I bought 8 of them recently. I imagine they are sherries as they are only 5 inches tall with openings of 2 3/4 inches.
Interesting stem.
