Champagnes with Plate Etch (5)I celebrated Canada Day (July 1 ) in Orono trolling the antique shops.  I always enjoy visiting Champagnes with Plate Etchthe Orono Antique Market.  They have a great deal of glass, and on July 1st they had a number of etched pieces of interest.Champagnes with Plate Etch (4)

I bought these open saucer champagnes with the attractive etch.  The etch looked familiar and I thought, “Oh boy, I’ll ID these puppies!”  Turns out I have other pieces with this etch, different blank, and I’ve NEVER identified them.  Sheesh.

I like the stem.  They are very solid. with a large base.

Another entry for the unidentified etch museum!
