I have to correct an earlier posting. When I posted these glasses in January I referred to them as Boopies. I was recently
reading about Berwick, or Boopies, when I realized that the foot was not in fact a Boopie foot. These glasses are Bubble Feet, official name – Early American. Still pretty, and still by Anchor Hocking.
This explains my earlier confusion about the rounded shape. The Boopie is more angular and I couldn’t figure out the more rounded shape. You’d think I would have been more curious and investigated further! But no. According to replacements.com this is the liquor cocktail. Always good to learn something new!!
