This is a common little vase/floral container that you can find all over the place.  I don’t know anything about its provenance.  You have to put a flower frog in it to keep a low arrangement upright.

I used to have such a flower frog, but it seems to have gone awol on me.  The frog, and this little piece were given to me by my mother-in-law, years ago.  She’s gone now and I keep this as a keepsake.  Of course I have my three wonderful kids as keepsakes, but this is pretty too!

I should buy a frog and use it again.
