Unknown Etch with Swag and Flowers 2Yet another update on the original April 13 post and then the August 31st update.  I bought six of these stems (the one on the left.)  Now that I have these six, likely clarets or sherries, the one wine, two sherberts and a decanter, I practically have a set!  Still don’t know what they are of course.  I think I will try to to sell these glasses with the decanter.  Too cute.

Update – During our recent Niagara trip I added to my collection of ‘pieces with this unknown etch, unknown blank.’  They were in a shop in Fort Erie.

I don’t know why I feel compelled to do so, but….there it is.  They are sherberts/dessert dishes I imagine.  Very dainty.Floral Needle Etch

Ok – after posting this 5 minutes ago, I decided to troll for the image of the goblet to add to this post.  Here it is.15

Original post – April 11, 2013

142I have long had a single water goblet with this etch.  I have no idea where it is and I can’t find a photo.  Likely in a box somewhere.  Anyway…..came across this decanter on our Niagara trip.

144 I was so surprised to find the etch replicated.  I certainly didn’t need any more decanters, especially one without a stopper.  but I couldn’t resist, since I have the one stem.  Sheesh – how lame is that?????

Pretty, isn’t it?
