Never did buy the console bowl and…..I sold the piece.  I’ve long been sorry that I sold it, although I don’t really know why since I do not collect flower frogs.

In any event I wanted to post this again in order to point to this site that I came across today – Black Poppy Glass.  The site owners have a huge collection of beautiful pieces, including a large collection of Cambridge’s flower frogs.  Definitely worth a look as there are colours and shapes, not often seen.

I am on vacation – yippie!  We are off on a road trip soon and I am certain that I will be picking up some treasures along the way.  I took the day off to work in the garden, but it rained all day!  I could have done laundry and packed, but decided to hit the local thrift and antique shops.

Now….I don’t need anything and haven’t bought a thing for ages, but….I couldn’t resist this pretty piece.  It’s an 8 1/2 inch figural flower frog.  I’ve never owned one, so…I thought, well….why not?

The photos don’t really reflect the attractiveness of this piece.

Now I need to find a pink console bowl.
