I thought that identifying this wine glass would be a breeze due to the unusual stem.  I didn’t recognize it, but figured that someone more knowledgeable than I, would have an ‘ah ha’ moment.  I posted it on the Elegant and Everyday Glass Forum, where the members know all……to no avail, yet.

I’m guessing European, although I don’t know why!

I also posted it through Google Images.  I’ve not had any luck using this search, and I didn’t with this glass either.  Lots of pretty pieces were featured but no matches.  Interestingly there were quite a few pieces with Heisey’s Orchid etch.  A pretty pattern, but nothing like this one.

I have also posted on the Glass Message Board.  I hope someone recognizes this piece.  I have two stems, but wouldn’t mind finding a couple more.
