Aren’t these pretty? They look great when the sun shines through them. I don’t know if they are Fenton or Westmoreland or made in Taiwan (although I doubt that).
The two aren’t the same colour although I bought them at the same thrift shop, so they were likely donated together. I don’t know if you can tell from the photo, but one is more red and the other has more of a reddish brown colour. I don’t think either would be considered as amberina as there isn’t much orange to either piece.
I’ve not seen anything quite like them – the shape is unusual. I’d love to hear from anyone who can ID these pieces. I’ve has them up on a Facebook page for an ID, but no luck so far.
Mum, if you ever find these in blue, will you pick them up for me, please? xo
Will do. I had some blue hobnail vases, in the past. I sold one and I think Bethie might have the other. That one was a small piece. I’ve neevr seen any in this particular shape before. But you know I like to have a goal when out looking!
Hello,
Not sure if you’ll remember me or not, but awhile back I bought a set of champagne coupe glasses from you. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I finally got around to blogging about them (I started one this year) and just wanted to thank you again. I am enjoying them so much and thankfully they are all still intact! Thanks again!
