Awhile back I posted a covered candy dish that my guy arranged to acquire at an auction.  This single piece was also included in the box lot that was purchased.

It has pretty etching with floral, swag details.  Pretty basic shape.  I’ve not even posted this as I am probably am unlikely to find anyone that recognizes it.  I think this will have to be added to my Needle Etched Museum (of unknown pieces).

It is pretty.  I don’t know why these etches ‘speak’ to me, but they do.  I think I enjoy the image of the craftmanship behind the decorations.
