I only have one of these stems. Pretty etch.  I have no recall as to where it was purchased, and I’ve never seen the etch elsewhere.  This one now has a significant chip in its base.  It got banged about after being used.  As much as you hate to see a glass damaged, its kind of like a new car – you can relax once the first scratch appears.
