Isn’t this such a pretty blue?  I bought this on spec a a couple weekends ago in Fenelon Falls.  We went antiquing on a gorgeous Saturday and picked up a few fun things.  I thought the colour was so pretty, and it was in great shape and only $12.  My daughter has recently added blue accents in her decorating repertoireand maybe she’ll like this.  She’s coming home for an Easter visit, with my grandbeagle, and I am hoping that she takes a few things home.  I need more space!

As it turns out it is not particularly old.  From what I have read it was likely made in the ’70s.  Still that is more than thirty years old – yikes!!!  Double yikes!!!  I’m vintage, in fact, way past vintage!

The company that made it is Mosser, the pattern is called Grape and Cable.  I gather Mosser is still in production in Cambridge, Ohio.  Here’s a link to their 2012 Retail catalogue.  Lots of pretty stuff!
