One of my daughters has a fondness for blue and white glass and china.  She loves the vintage (all my kids too, wise children) and uses vintage white and turquoise Fire King plates which she got for Christmas one year.

She resists my offer of glass, but expressed some interest in the Libbey juice glasses that I have, in brown and gold (below).  Said she, “Do they have them in blue?”  Well they do.  I found them today.  I love having something to legitimately look out for!

Unfortunately I only found two.  Now I have to look out for more in this pattern.  I am going to mail them to her, so that she doesn’t ‘accidentally’ leave them here next time she visits.

They have the Libbey cursive ‘L’ mark.  Cute little things.  If she gets rid of them, I’ll never know and will remain blissfully ignorant, thinking she is using them with love!
