Another pretty example, this time with hand painted details.  I see in my book Westmoreland Glass: 1950-1984 by Lorraine Kovar, that this vase is item #37, but I don’t know if that is the author’s numbering or Westmoreland’s.

It is hard to see in such a small photo, but the roses, bows and foliage are the same with the minor differences resulting from different artisans doing the painting.

Very pretty.

This cute milk glass sugar bowl  showcases the ‘fruity’ details of Westmoreland’s popular Paneled Grape pattern.  It was likely manufactured in the 1950s or 1960s.

The sugar bowl is considered to be the ‘small’ bowl and stands 3 3/8 inches tall, without the lid. With the lid, it stands about 5 3/4 inches to the top of the finial.

It is marked with Westmoreland’s “WG” mark.

The Paneled Grape pieces must have been common as they are not difficult to locate.
