Spread the love

This pretty yellow glass was produced by the Fostoria Company of Moundsville, West Virginia, likely between 1933-1935. The etch is #318 – “Springtime”and the shape is line #891.

I had not seen this etch before I picked this up in Fort Erie at a little shop (forgotten the name) on Jarvis Street.

When I saw it – Navarre and Meadow Wreath sprang to mind, but of course it was neither.  I’d not seen this etch in the past.  In fact I rarely come across Fostoria pieces in yellow.  The photo doesn’t do the colour justice.
